Description
The Summer Marketing Intern will support our marketing team with key initiatives including brand positioning, social media strategy, and nonprofit marketing while gaining exposure to a mission-driven legal tech and services organization.
This position will be a hybrid position based out of New York(4 days a week), the position is expected to last 10 - 12 weeks. Hourly rate will be $25.00 per hour.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support daily media and brand tracking efforts, capturing coverage, key narratives, and mentions of AAA and peer organizations.
- Conduct social media audits of peer organizations in ADR, professional associations, legal tech, and mission-driven nonprofits.
- Track platform trends and performance benchmarks on LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram.
- Identify and recommend best practices in content types, engagement tactics, and storytelling formats.
- Assist the AAA-ICDR Foundation team with communications, website updates, and storytelling about grantee impact.
- Support development of social and email content to highlight Foundation milestones.
- Participate in weekly Marketing Team standups and project check-ins.
- Provide ad hoc support to campaign and creative team members, including help with events, CRM lists, or editorial reviews.
- Help with database and list management.
- Maintain shared documentation to synthesize learnings from brand perception and positioning research.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
- Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills
- Strong interest in branding, nonprofit communication, or digital/social storytelling
- Proficiency with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X
- Extremely detail-oriented and self-starter
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
