We are looking for a creative and social/digital media savvy intern to assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for the LV Phantoms and all concerts, events and restaurants in the PPL Center. The position demands a fun, positive and team-oriented personality that promotes the vision of the Phantoms and PPL Center as being the epicenter for fun and entertainment in the Lehigh Valley.
REPORTS TO: Director of Integrated Marketing
DURATION: Summer (June - August)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed
- Assist with the creation of content for our social media, emails, website, and mobile app, tracking trends online and across other teams/venues
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the "FANDOM" associated with the Phantoms Hockey Team and assist in reaching revenue goals
- Create weekly analytics reports for all Phantoms and PPL Center social media accounts
- Be an advocate to grow the organization's presence in the community
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
- Strong Digital and Social Media skills
- Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
- Exhibit creative approaches generating awareness and promotion
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize a wide variety of tasks

PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Sports and entertainment experience is preferred
- Photography/videography experience is a plus
- HTML and/or graphic design knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of and appreciation of professional hockey
