Summary: Vaxcyte's Summer Internship program offers students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience that complements their college curriculum with relevant hands-on work that can shape their future career pathing and interests.
Essential Functions:
As a Supply Chain Intern for Vaxcyte, you will work on a project as outlined below:
Assist with the solution design of OMP, our new Advanced Planning System (APS). Develop the Master Data templates for the system to support the planning of future manufacturing batches. Develop data templates to track transaction data necessary to track manufacturing, procurement, and quality activities. Support data loading and testing in OMP to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
The Intern will learn and practice through:
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and understand data requirements. Collect, enhance, clean, and structure supply chain data for use by OMP, including necessary data to define the supply in OMP (suppliers, CMOs, storage locations) and respective planning assumptions used to develop our master production plan. Providing analytical support to improve data workflows and efficiencies.
Requirements:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student with at least 1 year at university completed) or Master's Degree with a focus on Business Administration or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and work quality. Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork. Enthusiastic-Shows curiosity and is eager to learn. Dedicated.
Reports to: Senior Director, Supply Planning
Location: San Carlos, CA
Compensation: The compensation package will be competitive and includes comprehensive benefits and an equity component.
Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is $23-$26 per hour for undergraduate students and $30+/hr for graduate students. Actual pay will be determined based on year of university/college completed. The Summer Internship position will not be eligible for benefits. Relocation and housing stipend will not be offered.
