Summer Cook

We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our camp kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, serving meals, breaking down meals, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Responsible for food preparation, serving, meal break down, general kitchen and dining hall cleaning
Provide outstanding and consistent customer service to all camp guests
Ensure that all food service preparation, storage, and serving areas are in an orderly and sanitary condition, while adhering to all local state and federal laws/regulations.
Identify, minimize, and eliminate, where possible, any risks that could cause accidents

Requirements:

Reliable transportation
Must be 18 years old and prior experience with youth and/or a food service setting is preferred
Possess a practical understanding and comprehensive knowledge of food service, storage, and cleanliness standards
Previous kitchen experience strongly preferred; Safe Serve Certification or Food Handler certificate preferred
Must be able to work June 15 - August 16
