Location: Curious by Nature School, Gig Harbor, WA - Program Dates: June 30 - August 22, 2025 (8-week program) - Position Type: Internship (Stipend-Based) - Schedule Options: o Part-time: Wagner Way Campus 20 hours per week $2,000 stipend o Full-time: Cresent Valley Campus 34 hours per week $3,400 stipend GGHF Curious by Nature School is seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and nature-loving individuals to serve as Summer Camp Interns during our 2025 camp season. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for individuals interested in early childhood education, environmental studies, outdoor leadership, or related fields. Interns will support the delivery of engaging, nature-based programming while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic learning environment. Details on weekly camp themes can be found Key Responsibilities - Assist with set up and facilitation of daily camp activities - Engage with children between the ages of 3 and 8 in nature-based play and exploration - Model and support positive behavior, teamwork, and stewardship - Help maintain a safe, fun and welcoming camp environment - Support camp staff in adapting activities for diverse ages, learners and abilities - Communicate professionally with fellow staff and children Qualifications - Minimum 16+; preferred high school senior, college student, or recent graduate - Passion for working with young children and a love for nature - Friendly, dependable, flexible, and collaborative - Comfortable working in an active outdoor environment, in all weather - CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits - Hands-on experience in nature-based education and camp leadership - Opportunity to develop skills in teaching, communication, and teamwork - Letters of recommendation available upon successful completion - Fulfills internship or volunteer hour requirements for many academic programs - A diverse and inclusive team that will value and appreciate you TO APPLY Please email resume to: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until positions are filled.
