Job Description We are currently recruiting for an Animation teacher for Grades 6-12 to teach Blender 3-D for a half day camp from June 16th-28th There may be other opportunities to teach more classes in the Summer especially if you can teach more than just Blender 3-D.
Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. We need our teacher to be familiar with Blender 3D and Procreate.
Qualifications / Requirements: - 1+ years of experience teaching digital art or digital design classes
- A fine arts degree with a focus on Animation
- Illustrator, Animate, Photoshop, Blender, Procreate.
- Thoughtful communication skills
- A passion for One River School's mission
- Must live within easy commutable distance from work site location
Your students will learn to craft and sculpt objects for animated films, visual effects, 3D printed models, motion graphics, augmented/virtual reality or computer games with this introductory camp to the program Blender. Students will create a series of three dimensional objects while learning the essentials of the program. This class is designed for beginners to develop a foundational understanding of the program and discover unique skills to aid them in their future digital creations.
You will deliver the curriculum with enthusiasm and tailor instruction to suit individual students' needs.
