Position Overview:

Abrams ComicArts seeks a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for graphic novels, comics, and publishing to join our marketing team as a summer intern. The Marketing Intern will collaborate closely with our Director of Publicity & Marketing and our Publicity & Marketing Assistant, supporting the execution of marketing campaigns for our graphic novels and illustrated books. Tasks may include creating and scheduling social media content, assisting with digital marketing initiatives, performing data tracking and analytics using Excel, preparing marketing reports, conducting market research, and supporting promotional campaigns across various platforms.

The Marketing Intern will also participate in team meetings and learn from a range of marketing professionals throughout daily operations. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in social media marketing, data analytics, and promotional strategies in the publishing industry.

Responsibilities
  • Have a passion for graphic novels, comics, publishing, and digital marketing
  • Be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Be proficient with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook)
  • Be comfortable using Excel for data tracking and reporting
  • Be capable of collaborating on team projects as well as working independently
  • Be receptive to feedback and able to meet deadlines
Qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with social media content creation and scheduling platforms
Internship Details:
  • Duration: May 27th - August 15th (Summer 2025)
  • Compensation: For credit only; must be enrolled in a college program offering internship credit.

Hybrid Schedule-Three days per week in-office
