SUBSTITUTES - ALL AREAS Medina CSD One Mustang Drive Medina , NY 14103 Classified - Position - Substitute - non-competitive Job Number Start Date Open Date 07/10/2024 Closing Date 06/30/2025 Medina CSD is in need of substitutes in all areas 2024-25 Substitute Rates Teachers (including retirees): 1. For the school year, all per diem substitute teachers shall be paid at the rate of $125.00 per day. In the event that the per diem substitute teacher works more than ten (10) consecutive days in the same assignment, the rate of pay shall increase to $135.00 per day. These rates of pay shall be prorated if the per diem substitute teacher works less than a full day. 2. In the event that the District hires a substitute teacher for an assignment that is anticipated by the District to be 30 days or more, the substitute teacher shall be deemed a long-term substitute teacher and shall be paid at the per diem rate of 1/200th of a Step 1 teacher salary with no additional benefits. 3. In the event that the District hires a substitute teacher for a full year, the rate will be set at Step 1 of teacher salary schedule. Support Staff Nurses - $125.00 per day.
