Your Role: As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you'll:
- Conduct individual assessments to determine service eligibility.
- Develop and review personalized treatment plans with patients.
- Lead group and individual sessions focusing on crisis management and coping strategies.
- Involve families and significant others in the recovery process.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best treatment outcomes.
What We're Looking For: - Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or health services preferred.
- Experience: Previous work with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
- Certification: CADC or LADC required.
- Attributes: A positive, non-judgmental attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
