Additionally, we received the Providence Journal Rhode Island Top Workplaces award and Culture Excellence Awards for Compensation & Benefits, Innovation, Leadership, Purpose & Values and Work-Life Flexibility Position Summary / Objective: Provide support services to include handling and processing of Logistic Technical Data (LTD) product maintenance for in-service submarines: LTD products include Ship Systems Manuals (Operating Procedures, Casualty Procedures and Operating Instructions), Special Emphasis Programs Boundary Books (Fly By Wire Boundary Book, Submarine Safety Certification Boundary Books, Deep Submergence System Scope of Certification Boundary Books), Component Tech Manuals, Strategic Weapon System Support Systems Manuals (SSBN), Attack Weapon System Support Systems Manuals (SSGN), Ship Valves Tech Manuals. Processing technical data product reviews, including the implementation of SSN688, SSN21, SSN23, SSBN726 and SSGN726 Class technical data product workflow processes. Manage the routing and tracking of assigned Logistic Technical Data (LTD) products throughout the product review cycle. Processing new LTD products and changes to LTD products for Navy review and approval, recognizing the priority of each based on schedule and need for planned submarine maintenance availabilities. Participate in regularly scheduled LTD status and planning meetings. Produce meeting minutes or notes and distribute as needed. Manage and coordinate technical reviews of LTD product deliverables; communicate and coordinate review and adjudication of technical, administrative, and editorial comments through resolution to achieve approval of LTD products.
Generate and maintain LTD process metrics.
Coordinate with program offices to ensure timely delivery of LTD products to support Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) certifications of alterations.
Assist with routing and processing distribution requests for LTD products.
Monitor and assist with LTD actions for decommissioning submarines and retiring configurations.
Maintain Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) records for correspondence, communications, and processing of LTD products to ensure auditability and compliance with federal government/DoD/DoN/NAVSEA records management policy.
Other legacy (726, 21/23 and 688) class LTD related tasks as needed/required. Familiarity with handling restrictions (CUI, NOFORN etc.), sensitive, unclassified and classified documents. Required education and experience: Five years or more of relevant experience.
Active Secret clearance is required.
Navy/NAVSEA/submarine sustainment experience.
Working knowledge of configuration management and modernization/alteration ILS processes and tools.
Familiarity with DoD and NAVSEA Policy and Instructions for Logistics, Product Support and Digital Transformation, and Military Standards such as MIL-STD-3100 for Technical Data Packages
Working knowledge of Navy correspondence and records management requirements, including security classification and handling restrictions; and Navy correspondence Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's degree or five years or more of relevant experience. Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: The typical workday is eight hours in length. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor. Attendance at prescheduled mandatory meetings is required. Must be available during the core work hours as determined by your contract/location and must account for the required number of hours in a pay period to maintain Full-time status. Telework: This position may allow for up to 40% telework - 2 days per week. However, subject to change to support customer requirements. Travel: Ability to travel CONUS; potential to travel OCONUS
