We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert - SIGINT 3 to join our team of passionate individuals. In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission. The GoblinGlider (GG) SIGNAL SWE is leading a multi-faceted mission critical system development, deployment and evolution. The successful candidate will provide SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) analytic support, analyze signals of interest, and design software modules for advanced signal processing. This role requires expertise in both coding and signal processing to optimize customer accesses and develop innovative processing solutions. Responsibilities: The Subject Matter Expert - SIGINT 3 is responsible to analyze, track and identify industry trends, technologies, constraints and priorities regarding current and projected SIGINT strategies, solutions, and challenges. Primary functions of this position: SIGINT Development Support: Provide SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) analytic support to optimize and develop assigned customer accesses, ensuring effective signal processing and intelligence gathering. Signal Analysis: Analyze module/model output from signals of interest to facilitate the creation of follow-on processing, enhancing the overall effectiveness of signal interpretation. Software Design and Implementation: Design and implement software modules in MATLAB or similar design suites to process signals of interest, ensuring adherence to performance and accuracy standards. Novel Processing Solutions: Develop novel approaches for utilizing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) systems to create processing solutions beyond their intended use, optimizing resource utilization. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers and analysts to gather requirements and ensure the successful integration of software modules into broader systems. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for designs processes, algorithms, and software implementations to facilitate knowledge transfer and project continuity. Desired Skills: Demonstrated experience coding in C/C and Python. Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), specifically REDHAWK/RFNext, GNU Radio, or similar platforms. Strong background in RF signals analysis and SIGnals Development (SIGDEV). Familiarity with development suites such as MATLAB or X-Midas for signal processing tasks. Ability to design, develop, and implement systems within a Unix/Linux environment. Containerization Technologies: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications. Strong understanding of DSP principles, with a background in satellite communications system design and the implementation of these concepts into software. Geolocation Technologies: familiarity with time and/or frequency geolocation technologies and their implementation in signal processing applications. C /Python-Based Tools: Experience with C /Python-based signal processing tools and libraries. GPU/CUDA Development: Knowledge of GPU/CUDA development for performance optimization in signal processing applications. Message Queue Implementation: Experience with message queue implementation and communication protocols for efficient data handling Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Requirements: Provides SIGINT Development (SIGDEV) analytic support to optimize and develop assigned customer accesses. Provides analysis of module/model output from signals of interest to allow creation of follow-on processes. Independently designs and implements software modules in MATLAB or other similar design suite to process signals of interest. Directs implementation of sub-modules necessary for processing signals of interest. Despite novel approaches for utilizing COTS and GOTS systems for creating processing solutions outside the intended use. Manage activities involved with SIGINT Development (SIGDEV). Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Minimum Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Minimum Years of Experience: Ten (10) years experience with SIGINT Development analytic support. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
