ACO Advanced Resilience is seeking to fill multiple positions with highly motivated and experienced Technical Subject Matter Experts (SETA) to join our team. Successful candidates will lead activities in project management, technical and programmatic risk analysis, and program-funded test coordination. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating meetings, assessing performer technical progress, projecting performer outcomes, and ensuring that project management best practices are followed by performers and independent verification and validation entities funded by DARPA. The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise and experience in network engineering of DOD classified networks, notably the design, implementation, operations, and maintenance of enterprise, tactical, or expeditionary communications networks. Exemplary candidates will have demonstrated success with learning new subjects and rapidly gaining insights into current and next-generation research and prototyping, preferably with hands-on leadership of research and development programs in the defense sector.

Responsibilities:


• Provide expert technical advice and guidance to government stakeholders on all aspects of enhancing resilience and survivability against sophisticated cyber and physical threats.

• Conduct technical assessments, analyze vulnerabilities, and develop innovative solutions to mitigate risks to critical assets and operations.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, prototype novel solutions, and contribute to the development of advanced resilience strategies.

• Leverage expertise in cryptography, data analytics, and network security to enhance the program's capabilities in threat detection, analysis, and mitigation.

• Contribute to the design, development, and execution of red teaming exercises to proactively identify and address vulnerabilities.

• Support blue teaming efforts by providing technical guidance and recommendations for improving defensive posture and incident response capabilities.

• Stay abreast of evolving threat landscapes, emerging technologies, and industry best practices in relevant areas, including

• DoD Cryptography: Deep understanding of cryptographic systems, key management, and cryptographic modernization initiatives.

• Data Analytics: Expertise in leveraging data analytics techniques for threat detection, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.

• Networking: Comprehensive knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and security best practices for both traditional and software-defined networks.

• Prepare and deliver technical reports, briefings, and presentations to senior government officials and technical stakeholders.

• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between government agencies, industry partners, and research institutions.

Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, intelligence, or special operations, with a strong focus on advanced technology and resilience.

• Demonstrated expertise in multiple areas, including:

• DoD Cryptography

• Data Analytics and Security

• Network Security and Engineering

• Reverse Engineering

• Prototype Development and System Integration

• System Certification and Accreditation

• Product Development and Transition

• Red Teaming/Penetration Testing

• Blue Teaming/Cyber Defense

• DoD Planning and Acquisition Processes

• Clandestine or Covert Operations (Desired)

• Cyber Operations (Desired)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs).

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI required.
