Alutiiq Information Management, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a Software Subject Matter Expert III in San Diego, CA. The Software Subject Matter Expert III/Engineering Manager will support the development of Digital Additive Manufacturing Enterprise (DAME) for Naval Information Warfare Command (NIWC) Pacific. DAME is a Navy-wide enterprise system that provides for the framework and workflows to accelerate development and deployment of a material system. This material system will be the result of an integration effort to provide for 3D Print Exchange and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities using networked systems worldwide that will ultimately provide for a 3-D Printing capability to both U.S. Navy CONUS and OCONUS ships/sites. Support management and set up of 3-D Printing Systems configurations for RESTORE Lab tests, system demonstrations, briefings, and day-to-day operations. Ensure systems and Demonstration spaces are Presentation ready. Troubleshoot systems as needed for operations.
Prepare required documentation in accordance with DOD 5000 for ongoing development of DAME architecture relating to Program of Record (POR) efforts.
Experience with Systems Engineerng Management Plans (SEMP) development and execution
Demonstrated ability to use various tools and Software related to 3D printing, scanning, and related data capture as required. Supervise systems design/component fabrication efforts when required for event set up.
Facilitate agile development scrum teams in Cloud Environments and Micro Services Architectures.
Support management of systems configurations to help mitigate identified system vulnerabilities.
Payrate: $150,000 to $185,000 Annually REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: B.S. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
U.S. Citizenship status required
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or be able to obtain or reestablish this level of clearance.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with DoD civilians and U.S. Navy Senior officers. Prior military experience is highly desired.
A working knowledge of U.S. Navy and DoD engineering and communications commands, primarily NAVWAR, NIWCPAC, NAVSEA and NAVSUP.
Strong understanding and experience with security tools (i.e. risk assessment)
Experience with various environments, such as Linux, Solaris, Unix, Windows, Oracle
