Subcontracts Manager with Security Clearance

Apex Systems has an urgent need for a Subcontracts Manager in Hampton, VA. This will be a 6 Month contract to permanent hire position supporting one of our Largest Government Clients on the East Coast. Please see below for details. Compensation: $50 - $65/hour W2 depending on level of experience

• Subcontracts Manager experience Responsibilities:

• Serves as primary contact for subcontracts team.

• Responsible for identifying and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for contract success.

• Supervise and direct the activities of Subcontract Administrators, Buyers, assigned to support the contract program office.

• Work closely with suppliers/subcontractors to execute contracts and provide contract management support with complex contracts.

• Leads the subcontracting effort to establish the overall subcontract plan, proposal review criteria, analysis, and evaluation of proposals.

• Leads and conducts proposal preparation, and management of highly complex major subcontracts.

• Ability to work on complex assignments, where analysis and routine and non-routine data gathering and presenting is required

• Manages contract performance for conformance to original proposal. Responsible for leading cadences with subcontractors and providing status to internal stakeholders.

• Briefs Senior Management as required, attends meetings with suppliers and other subcontract administrator/senior management.

• Collaborate with program management office and senior management.
• Works independently on complex business issues requiring development of solutions, interprets policies, procedures and practices and is responsible for enforcing these policies internally as well as in Subcontractor relationships.
