Harkcon, Inc. is preparing to submit a proposal in support of the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) located at Hurlburt Field, FL. Our team, when we win this work, will provide analysis, research, training, and operational airspace integration to implement and sustain the USSOCOM Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and USAF including the Air National Guard, USSF and Air Force Reserves) UAS programs, and sustainment of the mission critical web application and database known as the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Manager (SUASMAN) web application.

As a SUASMAN Help Desk Support Specialist, you will use your previous experience as sUAS operator to assist and advise the Government with the operational implementation and training of SUASMAN unit operators. Additionally, you will assist the operators as they attend help desk tickets and answer questions as necessary.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Update operator training to incorporate new capabilities and features of SUASMAN within 30 days of implementation/release.
  • Provide hands-on user training on the SUASMAN web application's capabilities, features, and database fields of functionality.
  • Maintain records of Help Desk ticket requests, communications, and resolutions.
  • Assist the Government in preparing responses to taskers from USAF staffs, units, and USSOCOM and/or its components regarding UAS.
  • Assist in preparation and delivery of technical papers and briefings.
  • Assist SUASMAN Engineering Support staff in Beta Testing of all minor and major SUASMAN revisions.
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and support to colleagues and partners.
REQUIRED Qualifications:
  • Qualified sUAS operator (2-5 years) with exceptional operational experience in SUASMAN or similar data management systems that sustain, and manage databases, and track operational status of policy compliance datapoints.
  • Relative software beta testing experience (highly desired).
  • Help Desk troubleshooting and assistance response experience.
  • Exceptional communications skills to provide customer support training seminars on the capabilities and processes of the web application.
  • DoD Secret clearance
