Position SummarySt. Johns River State College is seeking a highly motivated and student-focused individual to serve as a Student Support Representative at the Orange Park Campus. This position provides front-line customer service to prospective and current students in a one-stop student services environment. Responsibilities include assisting with admissions, business services, financial aid, advising support, and general student services. The role plays a key part in fostering a welcoming, efficient, and supportive experience for students.

Duties and Responsibilities STUDENT SERVICES AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT - Provide professional, courteous assistance to students via phone, email, and in person.
- Guide students through admissions, registration, and basic advising processes.
- Support students in accessing and using their online accounts.
- Participate in recruitment activities, campus tours, and registration events.
- Refer students to appropriate departments for specialized support.
BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS - Process tuition and fee payments, and reconcile daily cash/check/credit transactions.
- Assist students with bookstore charges, parking fines, testing fees, and Florida Prepaid.
- Support Veterans and Vocational Rehabilitation students with contract documentation.
- Maintain internal controls over financial transactions and drawer reconciliation.
- Research and resolve student account issues in coordination with the Business Office.
GENERAL OPERATIONS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT - Respond to basic financial aid questions and assist with FAFSA completion.
- Coordinate student testing check-ins and monitor accommodations as needed.
- Maintain office forms, supplies, and filing systems.
- Support supervision and training of student workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by campus leadership.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: - Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in data entry, multitasking, and high-level customer service.
- Equivalent training or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.
Ergonomic Requirements: Work is primarily sedentary with occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 20 lbs). Tasks include computer use and other activities involving hand and wrist movements.
