JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the CECAS Director of Transfer and Graduate Recruitment, this position will be supporting undergraduate transfer and graduate recruitment, including meeting and communicating with students, transfer credit evaluation, and pre-orientation advising. Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

40% - Essential - Transfer Student Support:
Serves as primary point of contact for prospective CECAS transfer students. Meets with prospective students both on campus and at partner institutions. Promotes transfer pathways and track student progress through the application and preparation stages. Provides comprehensive academic support to transfer students prior to enrollment.

20% - Essential - College Support:
Collaborates with the Office of Admissions and CECAS departments to facilitate the review of transfer credits prior to enrollment. Attends curriculum committee and college meetings relevant to graduate curriculum and student policies.

20% - Essential - Technical Support:
Provides technical Slate support for graduate and transfer applications, including application review and applicant communication. Collects and manages annual assessment data related to transfer and graduate student recruitment and retention. Updates information and websites as needed to reflect changes in curriculum and policies.

20% - Essential - Event Coordination:
Coordinates CECAS transfer student and graduate student orientations in support of student recruitment, including Bridge transfer students. Supports campus events on behalf of the CECAS Director of Transfer and Graduate Recruitment, in collaboration with CECAS academic advisors. Coordinates and facilitates visits to South Carolina technical colleges and partner institutions to meet with students.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: 1st Bachelor's Degree

No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

WORKING CONDITIONS:

5% - Overnight Travel

WORK SCHEDULE:

Standard Hours: 37.5

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Expected Salary Range: ($ 32,686.00 - $ 47,000.00)

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

Normal Operations

Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
