Nature & Purpose of Position:To perform technical work as required with lights, sound, video and audio recording equipment for music concerts and recitals; setup/teardown of stage for concerts and recitals; stage managing concerts and recitals; assisting with equipment repairs and updates for the School of Music; enforcing performance hall rules.
Other Requirements for the Position:Qualifications:
Weekend and Evening availability.Stage or technical theatrical experience a plus.Must have a basic understanding of music recitals and be able to read music.Must be dependable and able to work a varied schedule.Must have the ability to work independently within small and large teams.Some heavy lifting may be required.Assistants should be confident, friendly, and comfortable working with faculty and other students.
