Nature & Purpose of Position:Position Duties:
- Provides administrative support to the Assistant to the Department Chair.
- Answers phone calls, takes messages, and responds to or forwards emails.
- Assists faculty with various administrative tasks.
- Performs general office tasks, including but not limited to making copies, maintaining equipment, and producing documents and materials.
- Runs errands, such as delivering or picking up various items.
- Greets and assists students and visitors, directing them to the appropriate staff or faculty when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This position is available for
Summer 2025 and Fall 2025.Other Requirements for the Position:Due to the nature of the role, students majoring in physics or engineering are not eligible to apply.Students required to take a physics course must complete it prior to employment in this position.
