Full-time, 12 month, Student Database Specialist position at the District's Administrative Office.
Duties: Manage, maintain, support, and enhance the student information system structure, policies, and procedures to guarantee the accuracy, reliability, and availability of data. Provide database expertise, support, and instruction to stakeholders throughout the district.
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, plus post secondary courses in information technology
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science preferred
- English language skills
- Bilingual oral and written communication skills preferred
- Advanced interpersonal skills
- Teaching and presentation skills
- Time management, organizational, multi-tasking skills
- Operating knowledge of the Google Suite
- Strong attention to detail and analysis skills
- Advanced knowledge of SQL servers and commands
- Ability to read database schemas and interpret database structures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
- Treats others with respect, works with integrity and ethics, and demonstrates teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, to use time efficiently, to demonstrate attention to detail, to follow instructions, and respond to management direction
