Structural Metal Fabricator - 1st Shift

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine fabrication details and requirements

• Fabricate structural metal components through cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and machining

• Operate a variety of fabrication equipment, including saws, shears, press brakes, welding tools, and machining centers

• Conduct quality checks and make precise adjustments to meet tight tolerances

• Clearly label and track all parts throughout the production process

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; assist in regular equipment upkeep

• Collaborate with team members in production and quality assurance to ensure timely delivery of accurate parts

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, offering input on workflow efficiency and fabrication techniques

• Support other shop and fabrication tasks as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on structural metal fabrication experience

• Proficiency with fabrication tools and equipment (welding, cutting, forming, and machining)

• Strong ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Solid understanding of fabrication techniques, measurements, and safety practices

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
