We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the structural engineering department, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standard. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the structural engineering department, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Oversee the design and implementation of structural engineering projects, from initial concept through to completion.
- Collaborate with other departments, clients, and stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Develop and implement departmental strategies and goals, in line with the overall company vision and objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the structural engineering team.
- Ensure all work carried out adheres to relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Regularly review and evaluate project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture within the department.
- Continually seek ways to improve departmental processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field. A Master's degree is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the structural engineering industry.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of engineers.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee large-scale structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent technical knowledge in the field of structural engineering.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and precision.
- Proficient in the use of structural engineering software.
- A strong understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- The ability to problem-solve effectively, even under pressure.
- A commitment to continual learning and development.
