Structural Engineer to join its expanding team in Taunton. This opportunity offers involvement in a variety of projects across commercial, residential, retail, and industrial sectors, working within a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities - Deliver structural design and analysis for a range of building types and materials.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Use relevant design and modelling software effectively.
- Attend client meetings, site inspections, and internal project reviews.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated project delivery.
- Work to agreed project budgets and timelines.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers (where appropriate).
Candidate Requirements - Degree in Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).
- Relevant post-graduate experience in a consultancy setting.
- Proficient in structural analysis software.
- Familiarity with UK design codes and industry standards.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Chartered or actively working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE).
