Henneman Engineering is looking for a Mid-level Structural Engineer to join our Champaign, Illinois office.
Responsibilities
- Participate in overall design and engineering of structural systems for projects as assigned throughout construction phase.
- Visit job sites to conduct structural inspections, verifications, and progress evaluations.
- Coordinate system layout and drawings with other disciplines; work as part of a multidisciplinary project team(s).
- Prepare contract documents, technical specifications, reports, structural cost estimates, and other relevant documents.
- Review and act upon RFIs, submittals, and other construction-related documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited University
- 5-10 years of experience performing structural engineering work in a design and consulting engineering firm like ours
- Professional Engineer / Structural Engineer license is highly preferred
