Job Description:
We are seeking a mid-senior level experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our aerospace client. The ideal candidate must be local and available for onsite or hybrid work support. This role requires a strong background in both linear and nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA), hand calculations, and expertise in fracture and fatigue analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform linear and nonlinear FEA to analyze structural components.
- Conduct hand calculations to validate FEA results.
- Analyze fracture and fatigue in materials and structures.
- Develop thermal mapping with structures coupled analysis.
- Work with high-temperature materials; experience in this area is a plus.
- Utilize carbon composites in structural analysis and design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Proficiency in linear and nonlinear FEA.
- Strong skills in hand calculations and fracture/fatigue analysis.
- Experience with thermal mapping and coupled structures.
- Knowledge of high-temperature materials and carbon composites is advantageous.
