Strike Qualification Test Engineer with Security Clearance

Description Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army missile systems Lead and support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors. Includes on-site TDY testing support, completing training to operate weapon system equipment at test facilityand performing Unit Under Test functional checks. Ensure execution of test schedule by collaborating with test facility staff and daily status reporting to STRIKE leadership. Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464) Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system's features Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems Required Degree and Experience BS or BA degree 10 years test and evaluation experience 5 years experience in weapon system qualification testing (can be part of the 10 years above) Experience with evaluating systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464) Must be a US citizen Active DoD Secret security clearance Preferred Experience Redstone Test Center (RTC) or other lab experience EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled
