Required Skills & Experience


• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Materials Management, Engineering, or similar preferred.


• 8+ years' experience in operations and/or supply management, including 4+ years in direct material sourcing.


• Experience sourcing ICs.


• Proven ability to manage strategic sourcing and deliver procurement value.


• Skilled in leading cross-functional, global projects.


• Familiarity with Bills of Materials and manufacturing processes.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

Experience with ERP, E-Sourcing platforms, and RFQ tools.


Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager who will be responsible for managing global supplier relationships, total overall spend, and strategic procurement for the supply categories they manage as well as their financial and operational performance. The role's responsibilities will cover the entire sourcing and procurement process, including strategy development and execution, risk management, supplier identification and selection, negotiation, order management, invoice resolution, reporting, and budget forecasting.


• Develop and implement global strategic sourcing and risk mitigation strategies for managed supply categories.


• Align sourcing strategies with overall business goals and new product initiatives.


• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across company sites to ensure successful execution and alignment of sourcing and risk strategies.


• Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to maximize value and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.


• Manage sourcing processes, including requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding.


• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms of supply agreements to meet procurement objectives.


• Collaborate with the Supplier Quality team to assess supplier capabilities and drive performance improvements to meet quality requirements.


• Achieve annual financial and operational goals.


• Identify and lead initiatives to drive cost reduction, eliminate inefficiencies, and ensure supply surety.


• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams on supply chain statuses, priorities, and issue resolution.


• Evaluate supplier markets to identify new suppliers, report on market conditions, and understand cost drivers and global pricing trends.
