Job DetailsProcurement Specialist
On-site Monday-Friday Core Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flex schedule w/in core hours)
We're seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management activities for a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is vital to maintaining efficient inventory flow, cost-effective sourcing, and strong supplier relationships.
What You'll Do
Manage day-to-day purchasing needs to ensure material availability and inventory balance
Maintain accurate procurement planning data (lead times, reorder points, forecasts, etc.)
Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, deliveries, and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with R&D, Document Control, and internal teams to address vendor or material issues
Drive cost-saving initiatives, analyze market trends, and support sourcing strategies
Lead supplier negotiations, coordinate product launches, and monitor supplier performance
Maintain data accuracy in ERP systems and follow regulatory and quality standards
Support continuous process improvements within procurement and inventory operations
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or production planning (logistics experience also considered)
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Detail-oriented with the ability to resolve problems and think proactively
Knowledge of inventory management, supplier contracts, and cost control measures
Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications such as APICS CPIM/CPSM a plus
