Job Description: The incumbent provides support to the Program Executive Officer for Aircraft Carriers (PEO CVN) in the areas of Strategic Planning and Communications. PEO CVN provides full lifecycle acquisition support to the nation's fleet of aircraft carriers. The command is located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. In this role, the selectee will: Assist with the development, updating and execution of the PEO Strategic Communications Plan to include:
Draft annual Strategic Communication Plan for PEO Aircraft Carriers and update the plan quarterly.
Draft PEO Aircraft Carriers Communication Plan briefing and present Communication Plan to audiences.
Coordinate briefing materials for key stakeholder personnel in operating Aircraft Carriers to provide familiarization with underway Aircraft Carrier operations.
Draft speeches, presentations, briefings, and/or point papers in support of the PEO Aircraft Carriers Communication Plan.
Prepare communication materials for distribution at events and to the press.
Support PEO Carriers in determining be more effective in their use of money, materials, equipment, and people.
Conduct analysis in support of top-level strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, scheduling, the design of production facilities and systems, supply chain management, pricing, transportation and distribution, and the analysis of large databases containing data associated with the construction and operation of aircraft carriers Required Skills and Experiences: Minimum:
10+ years experience in operations research or Strategic Planning / Communications
Preferred:
Experience supporting a DoD / Navy ACAT-I program Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any field Other Requirements: Must be a US Citizen
Must possess an active and fully adjudicated SECRET clearance
