We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Advanced Accounting Consultant with a strong background to support client finance and accounting functions during a critical phase of growth and transformation. The ideal consultant will bring deep technical accounting expertise, hands-on leadership experience, and a successful track record in managing complex projects-particularly those related to
mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and
ERP system implementations.

Key Responsibilities- Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing insight and guidance on accounting best practices and financial reporting.
- Lead or support the integration of accounting operations for newly acquired entities, including purchase price allocations, valuation work, and consolidation.
- Drive and support ERP implementations and system optimization projects, ensuring alignment with GAAP and internal reporting needs.
- Support leadership with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and/or review of complex journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Operations, and IT teams during enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements.
- Serve as a mentor or interim lead for accounting teams during transition periods.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and support audit or due diligence processes as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting M&A transactions, including post-acquisition accounting integration.
- Hands-on experience with ERP implementations or major system migrations (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday).
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, consolidation, revenue recognition, and purchase accounting.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
