Our client is seeking a driven and dynamic Strategic Account Manager to grow key relationships within the dental sales division. This role is responsible for developing long-term partnerships with high-value dental clients, driving revenue growth, and delivering tailored solutions that align with client needs. The ideal candidate combines a consultative sales approach with a deep understanding of the dental industry to provide exceptional service and strategic guidance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic dental accounts, including group practices, DSOs, and key opinion leaders.
- Identify client needs and align them with customized solutions, products, and services.
- Develop and execute account plans to expand business within existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
- Serve as the main point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and integrated solutions.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to monitor success metrics, introduce new offerings, and address concerns proactively.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to inform business strategies.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and report on key account activities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed to build relationships and represent the brand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the dental, medical, or medical device industry.
- Proven track record of managing strategic or enterprise-level accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client challenges and recommend solutions.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with DSOs or dental product manufacturers/distributors.
- Knowledge of dental clinical workflows, products, and industry regulations.
- Background in sales strategy, account-based marketing, or consultative selling.
