Role The Purchasing / Receiving Clerk is responsible for all purchases, verifies, stores, and stocks all food and beverage products in accordance with company specifications, standards of quality, service, and policies. Assists Executive Chef and Controller in areas of food and beverage inventory quality and cost control, as well as related aspects of food service.
Position Responsibilities and Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED certification and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency
Physical Demands: - Ability to lift objects in the weight range of 10 - 50 lbs. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to withstand temperature variations, both hot and cold.
