Hotel Bardo Savannah is currently looking for a motivated and attentive
Storeroom Clerk. In this role, you will support the heart of our kitchen operations by ensuring our food and beverage inventory is received, stored, and stocked with precision. You'll work alongside a passionate team of hospitality professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences-starting with the ingredients that make them possible.
Responsibilities- Receive and inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation
- Label, date, and store food and beverage items following safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient storeroom, including dry, refrigerated, and freezer spaces
- Monitor stock levels and rotate inventory using FIFO to reduce waste
- Fulfill daily requisitions for culinary outlets with speed and accuracy
- Assist with inventory counts and communicate shortages or concerns to the culinary leadership team
Qualifications- Previous experience in a storeroom, receiving, or inventory role preferred-especially in food & beverage
- Basic understanding of food safety and storage practices (ServSafe is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold environments as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or collaboratively
- Comfortable with basic inventory systems or Microsoft Office tools
