Storeroom Clerk Location: Ashland, VA

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable Storeroom Clerk to support operations at a Mill in Ashland, VA. This role involves handling various warehouse and storeroom duties to ensure smooth inventory management and material handling in a safe, organized environment.
Responsibilities: - Perform storeroom and warehouse tasks including counter service, codification, reception, and storage of materials.
- Ensure storeroom cleanliness to promote safety and maintain audit readiness.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits.
- Assist with delivery and pickup of orders.
- Flag equipment and tools for repair and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Prepare job kits for upcoming work assignments.
- Perform additional tasks as required in the workshop and storeroom.
Desired Profile: - Rigorous attention to detail and process monitoring.
- Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and strong decision-making skills.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Customer service oriented with good communication skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic terminology is a plus.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts (training provided).
- Prior storeroom or storekeeping experience is advantageous.
Requirements: - Must pass background check and physical/drug screening.
- Must be forklift certified.

Pay Details: $24.68 per hour
