It is part of the IMA Life division, which focuses on the pharmaceutical sector and delivers advanced technologies for filling, lyophilization, and isolation-ensuring maximum sterility and product integrity for customers around the globe. We are looking for a Storekeeper lead for our Tonawanda, NY location.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Storekeeper Lead, you will manage, support and work side by side with the warehouse staff at our facility in Tonawanda, New York.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives or prepares for shipments and checks items against packing lists.
- Make inventory counts with minimum supervision
- Assist in highlighting overstocking and shortages which have not been identified using formal control procedures
- Maintains shipping/receiving records
- Issue all components associated with manufacturing and sales orders, including those which physically do not move through the Stores.
- Ability to inspect highly important components against design data inspection sheets.
- Responsible for Hazardous Material Compliance.
- Works within the guidelines of ISO9001 quality systems to assure high quality in Stores process and compliance with all procedures and working instructions.
- This role requires performing tasks that may involve lifting, stacking, climbing ladders, and operating forklifts, with or without reasonable accommodation
Additional Responsibilities:
- Set daily priorities within department and oversee and adhere to established procedures and working instructions.
- Representation of the department at any necessary meetings.
- Daily responsibility for inspection of fork truck and oil skids, along with Receipt to RP status report for purchasing.
- Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DSGA).
Occasional overtime may be required and will be compensated in accordance with company policy.
MUST HAVE
- Associate degree with minimum of 3 year of experience in Stores/Shipping environment
- Experience in discussions and paperwork connected with carriers.
- Experience coordinating hazardous material compliance
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
- Management and training experience strongly preferred.
