Job Overview

The Store Operations Manager is accountable for overseeing the entire store's functionality. You will spearhead the management team, ensuring the execution of organizational objectives, initiatives, and the attainment of both store and profit goals. Your leadership will be crucial in maximizing store profitability by regulating controllable expenses, optimizing revenue streams, and nurturing a high-performing team. In applicable locations, you will also manage the fuel operations. Your role also involves upholding customer and associate satisfaction, meeting brand standards, and driving profitability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team to consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics, and drive budgeted merchandise gross profit by executing the merchandise plan effectively.
  • Constantly monitor and analyze financial reports to enhance store profitability and take proactive measures as necessary.
  • Manage inventory efficiently, aiming to maximize sales while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and operational efficiency, taking appropriate actions to address any arising issues.
  • Promote a positive customer experience by addressing complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Oversee staffing needs for a 24/7 business, ensuring suitable candidates are interviewed and selected in collaboration with your management team.
  • Streamline resource allocation and scheduling for optimal labor management across the store.
  • Validate that all associates receive comprehensive training to perform their roles safely and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Develop a diverse and inclusive store atmosphere, promoting a respectful and engaging work environment.
  • Foster community relationships to enhance the store's presence and connections.

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
