Position Overview:

As the Store Operations General Manager, you will oversee the overall operation of the store, leading a talented management team to achieve our strategic objectives and financial targets. Your role is pivotal in maximizing profitability while maintaining our high standards of customer and associate satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitability by analyzing performance metrics, managing expenses, and executing merchandising strategies.
  • Monitor financial health through detailed analysis of income statements and inventory management to enhance sales and minimize waste.
  • Ensure safety and operational excellence by enforcing policies and procedures while fostering a compliant work environment.
  • Champion change initiatives while effectively communicating their importance to associates and guiding them through transitions.
  • Create a welcoming shopping experience by addressing customer inquiries, soliciting feedback, and developing plans to enhance service quality.
  • Oversee staffing needs, including recruitment, interviewing, and decisions in collaboration with store management.
  • Manage labor resources efficiently through smart scheduling and prioritization of tasks to meet business demands.
  • Facilitate comprehensive training to ensure all Associates are well-prepared to deliver outstanding service.
  • Promote an inclusive atmosphere that values diversity and encourages engagement among team members.
  • Support Associate development through performance management processes and constructive feedback.
  • Build strong relationships with community partners to strengthen ties with the local community and enhance store visibility.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in leadership, staff management, and store operations.
  • Ability to lead and implement changes effectively.
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment is a plus.
  • Serve Safe Certification.
  • Demonstrated skills in exceptional customer service and relationship building.
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary.
