Job Description The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Silverdale, WA location including retail sales, warehouse, shop and general management duties. They are responsible for creating goals and implementing leadership, training, directing, teaching and more. Will work in general sales by applying knowledge of sales principles, off road vehicle knowledge, product knowledge, and management knowledge to motivate team and to increase company revenues. Interact with customers to ensure expectations are being exceeded. This position requires a high level of independent judgment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Oversee staff; plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control programs.
- Determine standards, production goals, and processes based on company policies, and workloads, confer with management or subordinates to resolve problems, complaints, or issues.
- Position is responsible for monitoring the work of the shop technicians including checking the quality of work, leading, teaching, and mentoring.
- Ensure the safety of all employees, ensure safety processes and procedures are in place and that all company policy and procedures as well as state and federal safety regulations are in place.
- Work with manufactures to gather information about products, technical requirements, problem or concerns, and other product knowledge to maintain positive relationship with manufacture and maximum sales on products.
- Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve methods, quality, efficiency, and customer service.
- Recommend or execute personnel action such as evaluations, discipline, promotions, and terminations.
- Handle customer issues and complaints, determine credits or other ways to increase customer satisfaction.
- Monitor customer preferences, market conditions and competition to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Implement corporate or departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management.
- Participate in the work of subordinates to facilitate productivity or to overcome difficult aspects of work.
- Research, compile, and prepare reports, manuals, correspondence, or other information required by management.
- Observe and supervise the work of employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
- Create positive relationships with business partners and stay current on products.
- Maintain high level of technical product expertise and support for installations and use, product compatibility, and other related technical knowledge to assist customers and staff.
- Responsible for employees' timecard adjustments, schedule, and other actions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Qualifications - 3-5 Years work related experience in a retail setting.
- Proven experience managing and leading teams.
Job Requirements - Must have knowledge of the off-road vehicle industry specifically related to jeeps
- Background in sales preferred.
