The position acts as a Shop & Save Store Manager for the Retail Division of Sunrise Enterprises of Roseburg, Inc., a private nonprofit Corporation that provides community inclusion and employment services for adults with disabilities. This position will manage day-to-day store operations and provide supervision and support to all store staff, volunteers, and trainees.

QUALIFICATIONS: - At least three years' mid-level management experience preferred.
- One year's experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
- Four years' production supervision experience (preferably retail).
- Two years' experience in marketing and public relations preferred.
- High school diploma or GED or acceptable combination of experience and education.
- Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Organizational skills to meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks and relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written positive, open, collaborative, and solutions-oriented communication and teamwork skills.
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Valid Oregon driver's license and insurable by Sunrise insurance carrier.
- Pass criminal history check.
- Pass drug test including THC.
- Must have ability and desire to relate to persons with physical/mental disabilities with dignity and respect.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Manage Shop & Save store in compliance with Sunrise policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain merchandising displays in the store to increase sales revenue.
- Maintain acceptable inventory levels through production and replenishment requests.
- Work with supervisor to keep store revenue/expenditures within yearly budget guidelines.
- Maintain work schedule as agreed with supervisor and be available to address emergency staffing needs.
- Fill in for cashiering, customer service, and processing tasks as needed.
- Maintain and ensure security of store and assets.
- Facilitate repairs and preventive maintenance of store per company procedures.
- Effectively diffuse disagreeable customers and situations and follow safety protocols.
- Know and follow existing quality control of product or service being produced. Assist in establishing quality control steps. Conduct and document scheduled inspections to ensure staff compliance.
- Supervise staff and perform personnel management functions for the store, including employment interviews, performance reviews, timecards, work schedule, scheduling of trainings, employment interviews, and corrective actions including terminations.
- Implement efficient production methods and best practices in accordance with Sunrise procedures.
- Participate in the budgeting process and inventory control.
- Oversee Direct Support Professional functions.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations, including Oregon Administrative Rules.
- Perform duties and complete tasks as requested by supervisor in a reasonable amount of time.
- Maintain agency records in a professional manner consistent with prescribed guidelines and expectations.
- Attend, participate in, and facilitate required meetings, trainings, and committees.
- Do not exceed responsibility/authority delegated to you by supervisor.
- Exhibit good judgment in situations not specifically covered by agency policy or procedures.
- Participate in and oversee department safety programs.
- Keep work area in a clean, safe condition.
- Report any safety hazards, accidents, incidents of neglect, abuse, emergencies, or problems to supervisor and/or appropriate person per policy.
- Submit timesheets and other required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Meet regular attendance requirements at assigned worksite because job requires face-to-face interaction with clients, customers, or other employees, and/or because job utilizes on-site product and equipment.
SUPPORT FUNCTIONS: - Assure quality of Sunrise employment services.
- Serve as a role model for appropriate work behaviors, social skills, respect for others, and cooperation.
- Follow all trainee protocols, including training, employment, medical and behavioral supports.
- Provide transportation to trainees as needed.
- Complete and provide evidence of trainings to meet state requirements for Direct Support Professionals.
- Keep relationships with trainees professional and limited to work settings and supports. Notify your supervisor of any conflicts of interest due to preexisting relationships with trainees.
- Assist trainees to acquire and develop the skills, behaviors, attitudes, and personal characteristics required to function effectively in a work environment.
- Assist Employment Services staff in providing case management of trainees as directed. This includes trainee goal setting and training that would maximize their employment potential.
- Ensure job stations for trainees are set up prior to their work shift. Ensure processes are in place to keep the flow of material to job stations constant.
