Starbucks - Store Manager
We're looking for leaders at Starbucks. Join us for coffee, stay for the community, connections and opportunities.
We've got an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a store manager. Find your place as a leader at Starbucks and help us build the brand's future. Here your voice is brewed into everything we do. As a leader at Starbucks, you will be empowered to treat the store as if it is your own business.
To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience in leading a team in a dynamic retail or hospitality environment. You'll champion our mission and values to create the Starbucks experience for our customers and partners. You'll understand your market, get to know the competition, and identify opportunities to drive store profitability and business growth. You'll be an ambassador for our partner networks, ensuring our partners feel a sense of belonging.
The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same. As a store leader working in a dynamic store, you'll set an example and lead from the front on shift. A typical day could include:
- Executing store operations through your team, during scheduled shifts and your days off, ensuring coverage for opening, closing, and weekends
- Analyzing data and observations in-store to inform decisions that improve customer experience and store performance
- Collaborating with store leaders to use forecasting and scheduling tools to manage labor within budgets and recruit diverse, talented partners to meet store needs
- Cascading and implementing new initiatives to enable operational excellence and drive business results
- Supporting partner growth through performance management, coaching, and relationship building to understand their challenges, needs, and aspirations
- Setting challenging yet achievable goals to boost engagement and partner performance
Our stores' hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
All retail partners begin their journey with an introductory training program led by in-store trainers and coaches, designed to immerse you in Starbucks culture and set you up for success. These programs are delivered in-store and support on-the-job learning with your manager.
In return, we offer a competitive starting salary and benefits including:
- 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays), plus a special day annually to celebrate a personal milestone
- Free drinks and food during shifts
- Store bonus program
- Bean stock options for partners
- Comprehensive training and access to Starbucks Global Academy for continuous development
- A weekly free bag of coffee and a 30% discount on food, beverages, and merchandise
- Discounts with local and national retailers via Perks at Work
- Life assurance
- Home Sweet Loan (interest-free loans for rental deposits)
- 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme for partners and their families
- Recognition schemes and awards for long service and excellent customer service
- Long-term career opportunities within stores and support centers
If you're seeking a new challenge, you'll be welcomed, challenged, inspired, and heard here. Because here, you belong.
