Position Summary

The Store Courtesy Clerk will be instrumental in ensuring that our store is always clean, organized, and fully stocked to provide a welcoming environment for customers. You will help create an outstanding shopping experience by maintaining the cleanliness of the store and ensuring shelves and coolers are stocked efficiently. Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Store Maintenance & Cleanliness: Ensure that all store areas, both inside and outside, are consistently clean, organized, and well-maintained. This includes shelving, coolers, signage, canopies, spanners, and nozzles. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as floor maintenance, restroom cleaning, and trash removal according to daily cleaning schedules.
  • Stocking & Organization: Maintain the proper stocking and organization of store shelves and coolers to enhance the customer experience. Regularly inspect stock levels and work with store management to replenish inventory as needed.
  • Customer Experience: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner to help create a positive shopping experience. Assist with store upkeep and ensure that the environment is welcoming and accessible for all customers.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and protocols for store cleaning and maintenance. Ensure that all store areas are safe, including regular checks on equipment and fixtures.
  • Support to Team Members: Collaborate effectively with store team members to maintain operational efficiency. Support the team with various tasks as directed by management to ensure smooth store operations.
Education and Work Experience
  • High school graduate, GED, or equivalent required
  • Related professional experience, preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a diverse population
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks efficiently, with an organized and proactive approach.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.
