Store Area Supervisor We are the nations largest off-price retailer with over 2,000 stores. Join us as a Store Area Supervisor and be responsible for a specific, assigned area of the Store as well as the general operations and supervision of the Store when functioning as the Manager on Duty. You will maintain a safe and secure environment, provide excellent customer service, ensure the store brand and merchandise are presented to standard, and handle general merchandising and loss prevention. Additionally, you will supervise front end operations and fitting rooms, as well as perform administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager. You will also be responsible for supervising retail associates and stockroom leads (where applicable).
Required Qualifications and Skills: - Excellent verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
Physical Requirements: - Ability to use all Store equipment
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the Store
- Ability to regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs
- Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other assigned supplies
- Associates who work Stockroom shifts: ability to regularly push, pull and lift more than 20 lbs
