The Stock Lead is responsible for overseeing the flow of merchandise, maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing. This role also involves leading and training stock associates, supporting inventory accuracy, and working closely with store leadership to optimize merchandise availability.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and train stock associates, ensuring team efficiency and accuracy in handling merchandise
  • Receive, inspect, and transfer merchandise with precision and attention to detail
  • Oversee inventory management, including stocking, replenishment, and organization of merchandise
  • Maintain clear communication with store leadership regarding inventory levels, product availability, and restocking needs
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly displayed on the sales floor, maintaining full size and color representation
  • Keep the stockroom and sales floor organized, ensuring shelves, racks, and displays are neat, labeled, and visually appealing
  • Assist customers and team members in locating merchandise, demonstrating product knowledge and excellent customer service
  • Utilize inventory management and POS systems to track stock levels, process transfers, and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, markdowns, or pricing errors in coordination with store leadership
  • Enforce safety and loss prevention protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Support overall store operations, visual merchandising, and floor presentation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or retail inventory management preferred.
  • Previous leadership or training experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with POS or inventory management systems
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 60 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • TAM Card (Alcohol Beverage Awareness Certification) may be required, depending on location
  • Security clearance may be required, depending on job duties
  • Employment may be contingent upon passing background checks and/or drug screening, where permitted by law
