Central Issue Facility/ Conus Replacement Center Stock Clerk position located on Fort Bliss, TX. Receives, stores, and issues Organization Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE). Services a broad range of customers daily including Soldiers, other military branches and civilian contractors. Physically inventories all Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) by inventory documentation with individual Soldier processing in and out using the Installation Support Module (ISM) Program. Compiles inventory adjustment reports, inventory counts, stockage reports and location changes. Keeps records of material received or issued to Soldiers using the customer work sheets or the ISM program. Coordinates with the Supply Technician Lead to reconcile discrepancies. Marks and stores OCIE in racks and or containers. Responsible for receiving deliveries, unpacking boxes, inventory and inspecting items; reports to the Supply Technician Lead of unsatisfactory, missing or damaged OCIE. Arrange unpacked OCIE and place on shelves and racks, in bins, by location to include setting placards it can be easily retrieved. Restore and adjust storage space by re-warehousing daily. Assist in counting and reporting OCIE numbers during monthly cyclic inventories. Periodically pull, special or perpetual inventory out of stock for shipment to different locations when required. Mark unserviceable OCIE for turn-in utilizing a structured internal standard operating procedures guide (SOP). Technically inspect all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) prior to utilization. Operates MHE when required during the loading and unloading of commercial trucks. May adjust or repair OCIE articles carried in stock and other duties as assigned. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to meet company and departmental goals and objectives as required. Minimum Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent required. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Must be able to operate normally approved office computer automation equipment. Must have and can demonstrate the ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm on normal business automation equipment Ability to understand and use safety items and personal protective equipment (PPE) that is mandatory and actively supports the EHS safety program. Employee works under the general supervision Warehouse Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor, who furnishes work assignments in the form of written work orders or oral instructions relying upon incumbent to perform assignments independently or as member of a team. Ensures that all duties are in accordance with the established regulations and operating procedures. Maybe required to perform duties in adverse weather conditions, as well as in the field locations or storage area consisting of dusty, dirty and possibly hazardous materials exposure. The candidate must be extremely customer focused and capable of short-range planning, analysis, and the ability to understand the overall mission and have the following additional requirements traits: A basic working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. Must have some experience in and with military supply and logistics systems or the civilian equivalency. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility Must be able to obtain a license to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as a forklift, etc. Preferred Qualifications: US Army MOS 92A or 92Y Excellent customer service skills Thorough understanding and knowledge of inventory management. Experience in performing logistics management functions. Working knowledge of the U.S. Army inventory management accountings systems. Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels to include multinational staff, superiors, and ranking military officers. Ability to prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
