Hourly Wage: $11.13 - $13.24
Gaming Class: Non-Compact/Non-Gaming

Position Summary:
The Steakhouse Server will assume a variety of dining room tasks, including setting and clearing tables; delivering and serving food and beverages; and performing various cleaning duties and side work. Additional responsibilities may include setting up, decorating as well as serving periodic private parties.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sunset Steakhouse Server is responsible for the following duties:
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of service hours.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the Steakhouse.
- Maintain complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for drinks.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, preparation methods, ingredients, sauces, preparation time, garnishes, presentation, and prices.
- Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
- Retrieve all alcoholic beverage items from bar and place them on table/tray in accordance with the departmental standards.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all service areas.
- Model the company's culture, vision, mission, and core values at all times.
- Provide quality guest service by properly greeting with a positive attitude.
- Maintain knowledge of all aspects of dining room service and current and upcoming resort/casino promotions
- Inspect dining room for cleanliness and order and rectify any problems or issues promptly.
- Assemble table and place settings and ensure that they are always clean, safe, and orderly, refilling any condiment services when necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of daily and updated offerings; including but not limited to, specials, soups, wine, spirits, and other beverages.
- Maintain constant assessment and order of guest tables and offer assistance promptly, graciously, and effectively.
- Collaborate with other staff to maintain orderly and comfortable dining experience by practicing consistent removal of used plates or glasses and prompt replenishment of food or beverages.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and orderly wait station by ensuring sufficient stock of supplies and safe working environment.
- Assist wait staff with delivery of food, bussing of tables, and general service implementation of dining room procedures to ensure excellent service and customer experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Education and Experience: Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year of customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of customer service experience.
- Must be available weekends and holidays.
- Friendly and engaging individuals who are highly reliable and present themselves in a courteous and professional manner.
- Prior 1 year customer service experience required.
- Ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- GED/High School diploma.
Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and requires overall good mental and physical health.
Physical Demands:
Job-specific abilities and requirements include:
The position will require standing for extended periods of time as well as exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold temperatures, and food waste.
This position will also require the employee to carry potentially heavy or awkward loads.
The ability to tolerate various scents, noises, and bright lights is required.
