Territory Sales Representative - Towing & Salvage Industry Focus

Position Overview:

This is a hybrid position, with approximately 50% of your time spent working from home and 50% in the field. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as you'll be visiting prospects and clients within your assigned territory.

Industry experience in auto salvage, recycling, or towing is a strong plus.


Peak Auto Auctions is seeking a driven, self-motivated Territory Sales Representative with experience or strong familiarity in the towing, salvage, or vehicle recycling industry. This role is focused on growing our footprint within a defined territory by onboarding towing companies, salvage yards, and independent dealers onto our online vehicle auction platform. Ideal candidates will have hands-on industry exposure and a passion for helping businesses clear abandoned, impounded, or surplus vehicles with ease.

As the primary face of Peak Auto Auctions in your region, you'll be responsible for new account development, relationship management, and promoting our unique auction model that helps sellers retain 100% of the sale price.


Key Responsibilities:


Industry Engagement & Brand Representation

  • Represent Peak Auto Auctions as a knowledgeable and trusted partner within the towing, salvage, and vehicle recycling sectors.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and association meetings to build visibility and brand awareness.
  • Leverage your existing industry network to open doors and build strong relationships.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold Peak's Core Values in all customer interactions.

Sales & Territory Growth

  • Prospect, engage, and sign new accounts-primarily towing companies, salvage yards, and independent dealers.
  • Utilize cold calling, industry outreach, referrals, and lead generation tools to build your pipeline.
  • Conduct in-person visits and virtual demos to showcase the Peak platform.
  • Expand buyer participation by networking with local recyclers, rebuilders, and parts buyers.
  • Achieve weekly activity goals including 150+ outreach calls.

Account Onboarding & Customer Success

  • Guide new accounts through onboarding, ensuring clear understanding of the auction process and platform.
  • Partner with our operations team to coordinate smooth auction launches.
  • Provide responsive, ongoing support to sellers to ensure high satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Respond to all inquiries as soon as possible.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and report weekly performance metrics, including new accounts, vehicle volume, and buyer premiums.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, retention rates, and auction activity per account.
  • Adjust strategies based on customer feedback and market trends.

Key Success Metrics:

  • Number of new towing and salvage accounts onboarded
  • Total vehicles auctioned per account
  • Growth in buyer participation and buyer premiums collected
  • Account retention and satisfaction rates

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in outside/territory sales
  • Prior experience in the towing, salvage, impound, or vehicle storage industry is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within your region (some evening/weekend flexibility required)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
