STATE PARK PEACE OFFICER SUPERVISOR I (LIFEGUARD) - MONTEREY DISTRICT / MONTEREY SECTOR / MONTEREY DISTRICT OFFICE

The reporting location for this position is the Monterey District Officer in Monterey, CA. This position will work under the general supervision of the State Park Superintendent III.

The State Park Peace Officer Supervisor I (Lifeguard) will perform duties related to the Districtwide Law Enforcement and Aquatic Safety programs. The incumbent may provide Visitor Services Program support, including but not limited to public safety support to special events, fuel reduction, and lifeguard programs. A successful candidate will demonstrate effective leadership in the community, with allied agencies, and with District managers. The State Park Peace Officer Supervisor I (Lifeguard) is expected to work with a high degree of independence and is expected to model multidisciplinary cooperation with all Department and District staff in meeting Department and District goals. Must meet the peace officer selection standards developed by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training per Penal Code section 13510(a).
