Job Overview:

The Party Staff is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Recruitment & Staffing Coordinator to join our Costa Mesa team. This role will focus primarily on recruiting top hospitality talent and supporting client staffing needs. Key Responsibilities:


Recruiting Duties:

  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, job fairs, and networking
  • Screen applicants and schedule interviews through our ATS (JazzHR)
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and orientations
  • Manage onboarding including employment authorization forms, E-Verify, and background checks
  • Maintain accurate staff files and candidate records

Staffing Support:

  • Assist with scheduling and staffing client events
  • Match qualified staff to open positions and confirm assignments
  • Communicate shift details and event expectations to employees
  • Occasionally attend client events or orientations (local travel required)
  • Team Support & Collaboration
  • Support the Regional Manager with daily coordination, staff development, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies in all staff and client interactions
  • Participate in staff training initiatives and departmental best practices

Client Service:

  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients
  • Provide timely updates and follow-ups to ensure fulfillment and satisfaction
  • Occasionally attend client events for check-ins, staff greetings, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to understand and meet client expectations

What you bring:

  • 1-3 years of recruiting/staffing OR hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with Microsoft Office and web-based platforms
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (some travel to events/job fairs)
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent sitting, standing, phone use, and typing
  • Occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs)

Compensation: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
