Staffing Coordinator / EA
Join the fast-paced staffing division at AMI Network as a key support partner to our Staffing Team and Operations Manager. What we do.
Since 2010 we've helped 100+ companies across the healthcare space hire hundreds of employees, and our clients range from fortune 500 Hospital Systems to innovative start-up Health Plans. We most frequently recruit clinicians- think Nurses, Therapists, etc. We have a ridiculously talented business development team, and we've recently been turning away searches because our recruiters are at capacity with job reqs. A good problem to have, but a problem nonetheless.
What You'll Do.
Onboarding & Employee Records
Own the onboarding process by ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
Verify I-9 documentation through E-Verify and maintain organized, compliant records
Coordinate pre-employment health screenings with a local urgent care partner
Keep employee files updated and well-organized
Employee Support & Communication
Conduct weekly check-ins with temporary staff to follow up on absences, sick time, or concerns
Provide first-line support for employee and supervisor questions about basic HR policies, benefits, and hiring processes
Relay payroll-related updates to employees and collect timekeeping information
Reporting & Admin
Generate internal reports for payroll preparation and client communication
Respond to unemployment claims, EDD inquiries, wage garnishments, and other employment-related compliance items
Manage incoming mail and ensure it reaches the right team members
Take ownership of main line phone calls, general inbox emails, and website chat inquiries
Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure state compliance by distributing required forms and tracking training completions (e.g., Sexual Harassment Prevention)
Research and recommend process improvements to enhance team efficiency and solve everyday hurdles

Training.
We love teaching and have a comprehensive 30-day onboarding plan to introduce you to our tools, processes, and procedures (and then some on top of that.)- this is a great job for someone who enjoys learning and is excited about Human Resources.
Qualifications.
At least 1+ years of Human Resource Experience
At least 1+ years of Executive Assistant Experience
Able to work in person in our Santa Monica office
