90% FTE, evening/night shift. Every third weekend rotation. Holiday rotation. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Care Team Leader (CTL), Charge RN to:
- Serve as a front-line leader on a 39-bed hematology, oncology, stem cell transplant, and palliative care unit.
- Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses that use compassion and teamwork to care for their inspiring patients.
- Provide care for acutely ill patients, including patients at end of life, and those undergoing bone marrow, stem cell transplant and cellular therapies (CAR T).
- Collaborate with management for unit hiring and patient experience rounding.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.
- Be involved in cutting edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes.
- Become an expert oncology RN. You will receive formal education classes in hematologic malignancies, oncologic emergencies, stem cell transplant, palliative care, and chemotherapy certification.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
- 2 years experience in an inpatient unit Required
- 2 years of combined work experience and leadership experience may be considered in lieu of two (2) years' experience in an inpatient unit Required
- 3 years experience in an acute care inpatient unit Preferred
- Relevant RN experience with department-specific patient population Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required
- Current CPR/BLS certification Required
- National certification in relevant specialty Preferred
